Roberta Shaw has begun sewing again after a 45 year hiatus of career and family obligations.
Harsimrit Kaur Khalsa started sewing quilts about 15 years ago. She began making handbags for a cause in association with Avon in 2006.
At that time, her “Bra Purses” raised awareness and money for Breast Cancer research. She made the bag pictured from a (slightly adapted) pattern in “Amy Butler’s Style Stitches: 12 Easy Ways to 26 Wonderful Bags”.
Jane M. has been sewing since age 10. She learned to sew in her Midwest 4H Club! Jane lives in Santa Fe and Milwaukee.
